Hall is to judge the current state of motor movement, and then the controller controls the three-phase output of the controller according to the signals collected by Hall to supply power to the motor, so that the motor continues to work normally, so if the Hall is broken, the motor will be Will not operate normally.
With the development of science and technology, the controllers currently produced can make the motor operate normally without the need for Hall. Therefore, when using this new type of controller, it is not necessary to connect the Hall wire on the motor. In actual operation, some motors The Hall on the controller is broken and the Hall wire on the controller is connected, but the motor does not run.
Therefore, in actual operation, if it is a new type of controller, in the case of checking whether the motor is good or bad, first unplug the hall wire between the controller and the motor to see if the motor is running normally, and then further detect other motor faults.
Of course, some electric bikes are old-fashioned controllers. If the Hall cable is not connected, it will not run. If the motor is broken and the Hall is broken, replace it with a new Hall or replace it with a new type of controller.
